The Rooneys are now releasing their second album entitled, ‘Where have you been?’ This cd offers listeners a taste of the places they have visited since they began their musical journey in 1999 and shows how they and their music has been influenced by the musicians, audiences and experiences they have met and had along the way. As you listen to it and watch them play you can see and hear how this -still young family, have matured along with their music. They have broadened their capabilities from original music to original songs offering unique insights without taking themselves too seriously.
There are six performing members of The Rooneys;
Sheila, plays Bodhrán, Tin whistle, Piano, Drums and sings;
Linda, plays flute and Tin whistle;
Stephen, plays Guitar, Banjo, Mandolin and Bouzouki;
Sinéad, plays Button Accordion, Tin whistle and sings;
Danielle, plays Fiddle and Mandolin;
Last but not least Eamon, plays Bodhrán and Drums.
